Doctor Who 45th Anniversary – Why Was 2008 Brilliant?

With tragedy, mystery, modern art, fabulous frocks (and nice legs), shouty villains and a superb ‘duelling soothsayers’ scene, you can almost forget how funny it is, too.

My younger two are now big Who fans.
In fact Emma, recently 7 years old, said to me th other day: "I'll be as big a fan of Doctor Who as you soon Daddy."
So I will leave her to disagree with you on 2008. She loves the excellent "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead".
In fact she has been watching it two or three times a week since she got the DVD for Christmas.

Joe's very nice. Though I always remember him looking very much the worse for wear next to a very perky Geoffrey Beevers at a signing for Master.

Since you started I've managed to get through four more New Adventures (I'm re-reading them again) and all the graphic novels.
I'm extra excited today because I've just picked up the Abslom Daak graphic novel - one of my favourite strips from Doctor Who Weekly.
